So, you have bought a domain name, you have got a web hosting to host your blog, and now is time to migrate your WordPress blog to your server under your own domain. While that part sound exciting, it can be a bit challenging for some of us (including me :) ). That’s why you will need this free ebook.

This guide is actually a documented work of the author while he was migrating his own WordPress blog. It will helpful especially for the newbies who have limited knowledge on MySQL databases and WordPress.

To use this ebook, you are assumed to have a few things, which are:

  • cPanel access;
  • no shell access (having an access will make it far easier to migrate);
  • knowledge on how to transfer file to/from your PC using FTP;
  • patience. Believe me, you will need it :)
